In November 2014 a group of students took part in the school’s first World Challenge Expedition to Nepal.
During the Summer of 2017 13 Year 11 students and 2 staff members travelled to Malaysia to take part in our second World Challenge expedition.
The group spent a total of 3 weeks in Malaysia - trekking in the jungle, sight-seeing in Kuala Lumpur and taking part in voluntary work in the community in a local Primary School.
The support of the local community was key in helping the team to raise much needed funds for their expedition and we are extremely grateful for the kind donations they received.
The World Challenge expeditions are a fantastic programme for our students to be involved in. They develop leadership, teamwork and decision-making skills while learning how to travel. They engage in other cultures in remote environments, changing the way they think about the world and their place in it.
