Staff, pupils and parents at Dowdales School actively seek to fundraise for many different projects such as the Race for Life and the Keswick to Barrow.  The PTA also hold coffee mornings and evening events regularly.

The emphasis at this time is on the Rwanda Appeal, the purpose of which is to raise sufficient funds to build a school in Kigali, Rwanda.  The current appeal total stands at £13,000.
