Kudos is careers programme that the school uses to let its students see what careers best suit them.

Mike Ridyard, Dowdales careers advisor would like to know what the students in year nine think of the programme. Throughout the year all year nine students will have a chance to go on the interactive careers matching programme for twenty-five minutes. Some of the students who have already been on the programme thought it was really good, but others were not so sure.

You can access the programme in ICT rooms three and four by going to the start menu, all programmes, careers and clicking on Kudos V5, or if you would like to access it from another computer go to www.cascaid.co.uk/careersmatch.
The programme asks you up to one-hundred questions about your attitude towards the aspects of certain careers from a database of one-thousand-five-hundred careers, this leads to a list of about twenty options that link to your interests, it then gives you the details of each job including qualifications needed roots into the career, training options and estimated pay.
