The whole year photograph will not be back in school for display until week commencing 6th February. Photograph proofs/requests should now be returned to the school office by Friday 24th February.

Monday 30th - Year 9 Netball at Hoops
Tuesday 31st - Year 7 rugby away at Netherhall School from Maryport in the County Cup semi final (leaving Dowdales at 11am and returning for 5.30pm).
National Citizen Service - 2 weeks of free residential activity over the Summer holidays for year 11 leavers - looks great on a CV – valued by employers and colleges -information and booking session for Dowdales students this Thursday evening from 6.00 to 7.00 pm. in school library.
Congratulations to Ross Campbell, Year 11 who was runner up in the Cumbria Cross Country Championships, also to fellow runners Sophie Seddon and Hannah Stanway who earned places in the County team.
Year 8 and Year 9 rugby teams won their County Cup semi-finals and gained a place in both the County final and the last 16 of the National Cup.
