Art

The art department is situated on the ground floor of a separate building to the main school, on your right as you come up the drive.

The art rooms have recently been refurbished to a high standard and a range of high tech equipment installed. Art continues to be a popular choice for GCSE candidates, totalling approximately 130 students out of around 220. GCSE results are good.

There are two full-time menbers of staff, Mr Malcolm and Mr Kenny and Mrs Hornby works part-time.

We have on line galleries for the department; just click on the links at the side to view the work from each year group. The work from years 10 and 11 is course work and will count towards the pupils GCSE’s.
