AVA Students Experience Life at Cambridge

During activities week 13 of our AVA Year 10 students swapped their work experience opportunity to experience life at Cambridge University.

The students spent 3 days at Fitzwilliam College taking part in Academic lectures delivered by University of Cambridge lecturers in subjects including English, History, Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. Students also took part in workshops and master classes covering topics such as how to write good personal statements and the application process and they had the opportunity to talk to current University students about attending Cambridge.  The group were given free time (just like real students) to explore the area and see some of the sights of Cambridge to get a real feel for living in the area.
